· Synopsis
• According to Bobbit,F (1918), defined curriculum as a series of things which children and youth must do and experience by way of developing abilities to do the things well that make up the affairs of adult life; and to be in all respects what adults should be.Tyler R. (1949) mentioned
curriculum is a set of courses that should be understood by the teacher to be referred in developing the syllabus, conducting the lesson plans, and planning the learning materials, exams, deciding the techniques and choosing the media, based on the research of students experience learning activities.
· Reflection
If I were a teacher I would apply learning using a syllabus to list what learners would be taught and tested in student learning, because by making a syllabus, the learning methods would be neatly arranged and students would know what lessons they would learn for the next semester.
If I were a language teacher, I would create a speech course syllabus that would define the types of oral skills to be taught and practiced during the course and there are several courses or functions and topics or other aspects of conversation to be taught and the order in which they appear in the course.
And teachers also need to know what the development of the curriculum is. There are several processes that are more comprehensive than syllabus design in that they include the processes used to determine the needs of a group of students to develop goals, and programs to address those needs.

· Synopsis
Richards, Platt and Platt (1993) who define curriculum as an educational program which states the educational purpose of the program (the ends) the content of teaching procedures and learning experience which will be necessary to achieve this purpose (the means) and some means for assessing whether or not the educational ends have been achieved.
Mackey (1965) Selection is anjimerent characteristic of all methods. Since it is impossible to teacf the whole of a language, all methods must in some way or other, whether intentionally or not, select the part of it they intend to teach." The field of selection in language teaching " deals with the choice of appropriate units of the language for teaching purposes and witii the development of techniques and procedures by which the language can be reduced to that which is most useful to the learner
Curriculum theory encompasses philosophy and value systems the main components of the curriculum purposes, content, methodology, and evaluation and the process whereby curricula are developed, implemented and evaluated.

· Synopsis
According to Krahnke (1987) The choice of a syllabus is a major decision in language teaching, and it should be made as consciously and with as much information as possible.
Curriculum design can be depicted as circles within a circle that consist of the outer circle (evaluations) then second outside circle (principles, environment, needs), inner circles (content and sequencing, principles, environment) and the very center circle (goal) see appendic. Course design is interpretation on learning needs data to produce an integrated series of teaching- learning experience. The aim of it is lead learner to a particular state of knowledge.

2. The first learning method that can be used in learning grammar is grammar-translation, this method is related to the learning method we use to read, write, and speak Latin. And basically this method consists of 2 parts, the first part is the rules and also the pattern model while the second is the sentence that will be translated into and also translated from the target language, for example Indonesian.
If I were a teacher, I would apply grammar learning using the grammar translation method because in this method we use formula rules in translating sentences and learning grammatical words.
And in the grammar learning method, why did I take this method, because this method has advantages when we compare it with other methods. One of the virtues is to focus on the translation of grammatical forms, besides that this method also focuses on memorizing vocabulary, so there is no need to worry about how to learn English with this method which is very simple and this method only combines grammar learning activities and also the translation.

3. if I become a teacher by "improving teacher professionalism through reflective teaching". That teachers play a very important role in school education. Because teachers serve as managers and learning leaders. In conclusion, the quality of education is largely determined by the quality of the teaching-learning process and therefore, in the event of a decrease in the quality of education. I will apply the spell method when learning to read. So students learn through the elements first.
Then I also want to apply learning while playing so that students do not experience saturation in learning. If I become a teacher, then I must understand the purpose of teaching students in the area of mathematics studies, and be able to understand the purpose of each subject that the students learn. Similarly, in other subjects, so think critically to analyze teaching materials tailored to the goals they must achieve.
To be a good teacher, I also have to have a managerial nature, with flexibility in facing the students in the classroom. He must have expertise in class planning, organize classes from the first day he is in charge, quickly start classes, go through the transition well, have the ability to cope with two or more class activities at the same time. Then I must also be able to maintain working time and use it efficiently and consistently, can minimize distractions, be able to receive a noisy classroom atmosphere with learning activities, have techniques to control the classroom, can maintain a calm atmosphere in learning, and still be able to keep students to keep learning to success

If I become a teacher, I would apply the final exam at school, of course, like the National Examination, but because the National Examination or UASBN is no longer implemented by the government, the school or curriculum makes other ways to get grades for the final grade.

§ Synopsis
According by rechard the define of need analysis. two points seem immediately obvious when thinking about need analysis. First, informal need analysis is not a new thing ; indeed, good teachers since the birth of the teaching proffesion have been conducting some form of neds assessment. Second, need analysis involves the gathering of information to find out how much the students already know and what they still need to learn In the formal terms
According to Platt and weber (1985) as “the process of determining the needs for which a learner or group of learners requires a language and arranging the needs according to priorities. Need assessment make us of both subjective and objective information (e.g, data from questionnaires, tests, interviews, observation)”
§ Reflection

According to Clark (1987) A language curriculum is a function of the interrelationships that hold between subject-specific concerns and other broader factors embracing socio-political and philosophical matters, educational value systems, theory and practice in curriculum design, teacher experiential wisdom and learner motivation.
Teachers are a key factor in the successful implementation of curriculum. Within schools, teachers also have many different kinds of responsibilities. Some teachers have mentoring or leadership roles within their schools and assist in orienting new teachers to the school or leading groups of teachers in materials development and other activities.
In planning a language program it is therefore important to know the kinds of teachers the program will depend on and the kinds of teachers needed to ensure that the program achieves its goals. Within schools, teachers also have many different kinds of responsibilities.
If I become a teacher attempt to introduce a new curriculum, syllabus, or set of'materials must take into account the relative ease or difficulty of introducing change into the system. Curriculum changes are of many different kinds. They may affect teachers' pedagogical values and beliefs, their understanding of then nature of language or second language learning, or their classroom practices and use of teaching materials.
A methodology that can readily be turned into teaching materials and textbooks will generally be easier to adopt than one that exists only as a set of guidelines. For this reason Communicative Language Teaching is much more widely adopted as a teaching approach than the Natural Approach. The support networks available in promoting or explaining an innovation may also be crucial.

· Synopsis
- according to Eisner (1992, 302)" educational practice is concerned with the achievement of certain desired end states, it relies on a larger value matrix to secure and justify the directions in which it moves."
- The basic educational aim was the assimilation of British culture through the medium of English literature. There was no provision for language work specially designed to help the non-native learner (Ho 1994,223).
- People can improve themselves and their environment through a process of rational planning. Social, economic, and other needs of society can be identified and planned for "by task analysis, by forming objectives for each task, and by teaching skills as discrete units" (Uhrraacher 1993,4).
· Reflection
In developing goals for educational programs, curriculum planners draw on their understanding both of the present and long-term needs of learners and of society as well as the planners' beliefs and ideologies about schools, learners, and teachers. These beliefs and values provide the philosophical underpinnings for educational programs and the justification for the kinds of aims they contain. At any given time, however, a number of competing or complementary perspectives are available concerning the focus of the curriculum.

· Synopsis
According to (Feez 1998, 85-86) A text-based syllabus is a type of integrated syllabus because it combines elements of different types of syllabuses. Appendix 7 gives an example of the processes involved in developing a text-based syllabus.
According to (Richards and Sandy 1998), In planning an upper-intermediate-level course with a topical organization of units and an integrated syllabus.
· Reflection
Once a course has been planned and organized, it can be described. One form in which it can be described is as a scope and sequence plan. This might consist of a listing of the module or units and their contents and an indication of how much teaching time each block in the course will require. In the case of a textbook it usually consists of a unit-by-unit description of the course cross-referenced to the syllabus items included. Appendix 9 gives part of a scope and sequence plan for New Interchange 1 (Richards, Proctor, and Hull 1997). Having considered the different processes involved in planning and developing a language program, we can now turn to issues that arise in creating conditions for effective teaching of the course

This material discusses about which is divided into 4 parts, namely the introduction of effective learning, effective learning, opportunities for teacher development, and examples of effective teaching. Effective teaching occurs best when all education stakeholders, including parents, policy makers, community members, and educators, share responsibility for continuous improvement and student achievement. For teachers in the classroom, effective professional learning is the single most powerful pathway to drive continuous improvement in teaching. Quality teaching is achieved not only as a consequence but also how well teachers teach through creating contexts and work environments that can facilitate good teaching. The following issues will be considered in this chapter:
Ø Institutional factors
Ø Quality indicators in an institution
Ø A Sense Of Mission
Ø A Strategic Plan
Ø A Sound Curriculum
Ø Good Internal Communication
Ø Flexible Organizational Framework
Ø Opportunities For Teacher Development

· Reflection
Teaching materials are a key component in most language programs. Whether the teacher uses a textbook, institutionally prepared materials, or his or her own materials, instructional materials generally serve as the basisjforjnuch of thejanguage input learMrsjeceJTO dtfielianquage practice that occurs in the classroom.
Some teachers use instructional materials as their primary teaching resource. The materials provide the basis for the content of lessons, the balance of skills taught, and the kinds of language practice students take part in. In other situations, materials serve primarily to supplement the teacher's instruction. For learners, materials may provide the major source of contact they have with the language apart from the teacher. Hence the role and uses of materials in a language program are a significant aspect of language curriculum development.

· Synopsis
Evaluation is concerned eith making value judgments about all sorts of things in our lives, in education, evaluation usually refers to making judgments about students performance and behaviours and the use of that information to enhance both learning/teaching and the curriculum. In education we distinguish between product evaluation (student performance) and process evaluation (the learning situation). Evaluation in curriculum is useful for: providing feedback to learners, determining how well learners achieved the objective, providing information to improve curricula, assisting learners with decision making, clarifying the stated objectives, and assisting others making decisions about students.

· Synopsis
Freedom to learn
Disrupting education is an unavoidable reality, which has encouraged mobilizing teachers
through distance learning as a strategy, with numerous mobile learning applications serving
as platforms. For them, distant learning, which is intended to be a permanent policy in the
framework of the policy Independent Learning, needs to be corrected because it still leaves
some obstacles that the curriculum planners must overcome. Three of these obstacles have
been linked to teachers' competencies, the affordability of supporting technology, and school
readiness (Thohir et al., 2021).
· Reflection
If I become a teacher attempt to introduce a new curriculum The materials can be adopted, developed, or changed to match the specific language program
using needs analysis data, instructional objectives, and testing information. It provides
strategies for completing these tasks to become a resource from which instructors can draw
rather than a limitation delaying their classroom efforts
